Shipping, Returns & Unpaid Orders

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items, seals intact if applicable, within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, as applicable - see exclusions.

Restocking Fee of 8% may be applied to any returned orders, upon discretion, by Lombard Hobbies.

We'll also pay the return shipping costs, in the form of store credit, if the return is a result of our error, ie you received the wrong item.  

DCC equipment and electronic items are NOT eligible for returns of any kind, whatsoever, and manufacturer must be directly contacted by customer.

ALL manufacturer defects of any kind will be handled directly between the manufacturer and the customer end user, with all applicable warranties in effect. 

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place a
Domestic order, considered the 48 contiguous states, shipping is automatically added at a flat rate of $13.95 for any order to be shipped, regardless of size, weight and destination. Order values at $450.00 and above are shipped FREE and done so at our discretion of shipper and service level.  Special shipping requests for Free Shipped Orders may require additional payment.  Any special shipping requests, such as specific carrier, service level or signature delivery confirmation, etc may require additional costs. Free Shipping applies only to SINGLE orders placed over $450.00 and within the 48 contiguous states.  Multiple orders for under the Free Shipping Amount CANNOT be held until threshold is reached. Additionally if a PO Box is used, a valid alternate street address must be furnished if requested for shipping.

International Orders are shipped DDU and will have an automatic shipping deposit added when the order is placed.  Upon shipping and an exact cost is determined, a refund is processed for the difference.  If the actual shipping cost exceeds the deposit then the difference will be invoiced, once paid, order will be shipped.  No discounts or other shipping specials are eligible for International Shipping. International Orders cannot be combined once ordered.  Please take care to order carefully!

Unpaid Orders

Orders not paid at time of placement can be paid by check, money or cash (in-store only).  Any order placed that is not paid for in full after 30 days will be cancelled and inventory returned back into store stock, unless arrangements are made otherwise.  Multiple, unpaid order placements will result in immediate cancellation of future orders.
